I know… I know…

I’ve been writing so much about Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson (a.k.a. AshRald or Sasa & Gege) when in fact this is a personal blog, not a showbiz blog. Nonetheless, although Sasa & Gege are celebrities, I still regard the AshRald bond as a personal journey given that I officially belong to the AshRald community.

Don’t get it wrong, AshRald is not a cult or something. It’s the connection of cool and classy individuals brought together through the Sarah and Gerald love waves.

Before I continue blabbering about how awesome to be in the AshRald circle, I need to control myself.  I can already feel James Lee’s famous “dagger eyes” glaring at me (all the way from Singapore) and silently telling that I should get back on track. Shhh… James Lee is my buddy as well as my worst and best critic! 😉  (Click here to read related article -> Big Sister’s House)

Let’s get the ball rolling…

I admit I’m a “health” buff and I do love to work out… However, doing it continuously is an enormous challenge. My body is not flexible and since time immemorial, I have difficulty reaching my toes without bending my knees. It’s bizarre! To think that I’m so tiny like Tinkerbell. Tsk tsk tsk. The funny thing is, eating non-stop is totally a piece of cake for me and effortless for me. :p

Surprise… surprise!  I bought a Mari Winsor Pilates dvd with a pair of  mini “dumbbells” sometime last week. Doing Pilates for beginners really felt great but it took a toll on me and I stopped for few months and then, started again, then stopped for few weeks … and the cycle continues on and on and on…

Now, I’ve been dragging myself in doing the simple routines and incorporating some of the things that DJ Mitch (@TheSoulfulVixen) taught me. And to spice it up, I’ve also added the dougie dance moves. Boy! The last one definitely pumped me up! Whoa!

Anyway, slowly but surely. I’m getting there. Who wants join?

“paralyzer”

I was cooped in my dungeon while quietly enjoying my Sunday when my cousin called and requested me to attend an affair on her behalf and accompany other relatives as well. I was hesitant at first because I was too lazy to go out and I was in the middle of proofreading my articles. In any case, she did manage to convince me.

After fulfilling my “duty” in the said event, I was eagerly preparing to go home and continue where I left off. However, I was “abducted” (in a good sense) and required to attend the impromptu after party in MG’s abode. The spur-of-the-moment fun and exciting shindig was abruptly cut off because most of us need to go to work early the following day. Before we all parted, a second round of “paralyzer” session was scheduled to be held on a long weekend.

dancemania!

Moving forward, we all met up in “SongBird & Dance Diva’s” chic mansion for the second round of “paralyzer” get together. The “gossip girl” within us seemed to be unleashed after several sips of the famous “paralyzer” drink. The discussion suddenly revolved around the celebrities in the Philippines.

(Note: If North Americans love hockey, football and soccer, majority of the Filipinos love basketball, boxing, beauty pageants and showbiz “news”. 😉 )

beily’s

So as not to waste the night away talking about the Philippine entertainment industry, we all headed to Beily’s ultralounge for some “jiggy moves” .   Ha! We had a blast mingling with the younger generation.  Though, the youngsters sure become ferocious with too much alcohol in their system. It’s my first time to see people getting kicked out from a bar as well as a “bottle breaking contest” with matching shouting match. It was so exciting!

(Ignore me, I’m not a party animal, hence these were all new to me.:p )

jiggy moves!

moves like jiggy!

With all the commotion, lost claim stub and lost coat… we all went home safely. Thank goodness! 🙂 And sorry to disappoint you, we were not drunk. :p

“paralyzer”

P.S.
I’m not sure on how the name “paralyzer” was derived but the drink was a mixture of vodka, milk, and whatnot. It does taste a lot like Bailey’s.
