2009… Frequent chest pains due to work related stress and getting hooked to games on Facebook (farmville and cafe world) prompted me to set up my blog site. In my point of view, blogging is a good way to vent out as well as inspire people. 🙂 It is a form of diversion that yields to a more productive result. It’s a lot better than playing online games. 😀

hardbound

I used blog2print to turn my blog into a book.  Editing and proofreading took months! From 2010-2013, I have written over 200 posts and compiled it all into two blog books that have over 200 pages in each book. 🙂 Isn’t that amazing? Whoa! I felt like I won the lottery! I gave the first copy to my family in the Philippines and printed another copy for myself.

Several friends expressed their interest in getting a copy too; however, the printing cost is super expensive. -_- I’m still looking for a more affordable printing company. Please give me a shout (info.thecuriousme@gmail.com) if you know someone… :p

Third blog book is in progress… No candy crush for me! 🙂 See you later… alligator! 🙂

“renovation”

You’re not lost. Don’t worry, you’re still in thecuriousme site. I know it looks groovy! Thanks to my little sister, @TheSoulfulVixen, for creating the new classy logo and header. Yipey!

new!
old

Right, thecuriousme is now evolving from a cute & naughty little fairy to a funky & sassy nerd. 😀  It’s some sort of transformation from “fairytale” to reality. 😀 I bet you’re getting pumped because you’ve just witnessed the first phase of thecuriousme “renovation”. 😉

No, the change is not a sudden decision. It has been in my to-do list for the last year to have a complete revamp of the site including the change of name. However, after contemplating for a few months, I have decided to stick with thecuriousme since it has already become my trademark.

More “interior” changes will happen soon whether you like it or like it. Ha!

riddle

“You see, when you and I, that time, I was afraid it will not work out. We are like a universe apart. You don’t deserve me. I am workaholic. I thought to marry someone I like and someone who is from here, so that I know the relationship will work out. I grew fond of that someone and learned to love that person later on. But despite the fact that we are on the same country, the same land under the same sky, it still did not work out.

My side is I did not want to waste your time or our time because we are a world apart. And I am sure you know that it’s not easy, and it’s true. I was afraid to take the risk of moving on with our situation because I have always been told that long distance relationship never works. Sometimes, I wonder how to solve or find answers to the mystery I find in my own life. With my profession, things like such should be easy to comprehend. But no.”

etymology

Hear ye! Hear ye!

It was brought to TheCuriousMe‘s attention that the “exordium” and “soul sisters” articles are well received (with a big bang!) in the other side of the world. Whoa! That’s totally mind-blowing!

On behalf of the Royalville Family, merci beaucoup!  😉

Moreover, I heard that someone  is inquiring about the etymology of the titles (and perhaps Royalville as well?). You will find out at the end of the article who that someone is. 😀

To be honest, this is not supposed to be divulged to maintain the mystery of Royalville and at the same time, minimize the birth of the growing numbers of copycats.

However, upon a prolix tête-è-tête with Majesty, the cryptic nitty-gritty of the most lionized words in the universe will now be disclosed.

Ready? Here you go:

Royalville
Grandiouse (Royal)  Castle (Ville)

Majesty
A Queen is addressed as Majesty.

Majestylet
Petite Majesty (literally!)

Fairylet
“Little” Fairy
(Trivia: Majesty’s moniker is Fairy. She was named Fairy because previously, she loves to wear “fairy” like outfits)

Beautylet
“Pocket sized” Beauty
(I’m sure you will agree that Majesty is the “Behemothic” Beauty)

“Beautylet” was deliberated for a long long long time.  Several other titles were cited  (in which I’m not going to reveal! ever!) but the X- factor is not present.  Thus, it was agreed upon that the jettisoned titles should be buried 6-feet under the ground. Digging is strictly prohibited!

Furthermore, you might notice that the names are all akin to Majesty. The reason? Well, she’s the Queen and the  three “LETS” are her daughters and sisters rolled into one. I’m not sure if there is such thing in the commoners’ world, but it does exist in Royalville.

However, “LETs” doesn’t necessarily connotes that they are “chuwariwaps”and stooges. Plus “bow” to every whims of the Queen. No Way, Jose!

In the Royalville Family, everyone has the right to voice out what they feel. If it is deemed necessary to revoke a decision made by Majesty, it will be done after careful analysis and due diligence.

One last note, efxaristo to Ms Melody Pacis for your constructive inquiry! We greatly appreciate it.

To the loyal Royalville fanatics, learn more about Majesty, Majestylet, Fairylet and Beautylet in the next articles.  Until then! Au Revoir! S ‘agapó̱!   😉
